Mel Gibson, Keanu Reeves, John Lithgow, Rod Stewart, Chris Berman, A.J. (Backstreet Boys), Bill Cosby, Jack Neurauter, many Cubs, Sox, Blackhawks, Bulls, and visiting athletes are among the many celebrities that frequent Mother Hubbard's to watch their favorite teams and grab a slab of BBQ Ribs.

Chicago Cubs players, past and present, Kerry Wood and Mark Grace have enjoyed a night at Mother Hubbard's.

The 80's band Journey stopped in for cocktails after their performance at the new outside concert on the lake site "Northerly Island".
