This is great for your game day viewing because more receivers plus a whole lot of monitors means more different games being shown at the same time. Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub (arguably one of Chicago's most beloved sports restaurants) may also be the last to maintain a reasonable schedule for Christmas decorating. While other retail outlets and restaurants beginning decorationg well before thanksgiving (some actual just take down the skeletons and put up the Santas!) Mother Hubbard's prides itself on maintaining a tradional holiday timeline. Just like we have for almost 20 years. Now, if ony we can find a way to keep the santa hat on the frog.
Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub holiday spirits outdoors...

Enthusiasm was high this weekend for the Michigan/Ohio State game, but it seems that the sheer Michigan fandom and brawn were no match for the beauty of Ohio State’s play and its fans.

At Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub we spare no expense when it comes to helping our out of town visitors find all the NFL action.
We contracted Lianna all the way from Florence to create this recent masterpiece. The completed project was an interpretation of the Sistine Chapel ceiling with Jay Cutler reaching out to touch an unidetified receiver.
Unfortunately, a subsequent drizzle altered the sketch so it more resembled a colorful Rorschach inkblot of the teletubbies palying twister.
Just another reason to arrive before kick-off!
Ride the CTA Shuttle bus to and from Chicago Bears Games from Mother Hubbard’s Sports Pub. Ask your server or bartender for more details.
Mike Tice, Offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, stopped by Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub with a group for a short celebration after the Bears opening day victory at Soldier Field.

More satellite receivers and more monitors lets us show any game by any table. Sports Video on Demand.
A recent Chicago CBS Channel Two article lead with Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub as one the best bars in Chicago to watch the NBA finals. We couln't agree more!
Writer Natalie Kuchik notes that a wide selection of draft beers, a late kitchen and plenty of HDTVs make it a top pick. We'll add that while these things may bring you in for the NBA finals, it's the personal service that will bring you back on any given Tuesday.
We also think that after a visit you may realize that Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub in not just a great NBA finals bar, but also a great place to take in a MLB game during lunch, or watch summer olymipics coverage, or, well you get the idea.

Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub is already the place where visiting athletes, coaches and owners visit to console a loss or celebrate a victory, but it is also the Chicago sports bar of choice for the refs, umps and officials who keep the games fair and safe.
Earlier this week, Mother Hubbard's was pleased to host a group of not only our local MLB and NHL officials, but their visiting brothers in service. And no, they are never questioned or razzed about a call, even against our Cubs, Sox and Hawks. We recognize it's hard work making an instant judgement call on what is sometimes an impossible play (no guarantees, though, the we won't ask you to pose for a "Yer Out" photo for our Facebook timeline).
Speaking of our safety and brothers in service, Mother Hubbard's Sports Pub was also host this week to a very special group of US servicemen who no doubt prefer to remain nameless. Gentlemen, it was a pleasure to have you. Consider yourselves honored guest anytime business brings you near Chicago. Just remember to change out of your work clothes first.
